We call artists to submit a single art piece for a one-day exhibition on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at the old Foosaner Art Museum building. Please complete the application form and payment below:

Guidelines:

Who can submit? 

Local artists (sixteen years of age* or older (16 yrs+) from the following areas:

City of Melbourne, Indialantic, Melbourne Beach, West Melbourne, and Palm Bay.

*A legal caregiver of artists must sign a waiver under twenty-one years of age (21 yrs).

What should be submitted? 

The theme of the exhibition is transportation and mobility. Two-dimensional (2D) work must not exceed twenty-four inches by thirty inches (24″x 30″). Three-dimensional (3D) work must not be taller than five feet (5′), no wider than three feet (3′), and no heavier than seventy-five pounds (75 lbs). Sculptures must stand on the floor on a secured base, requiring no additional base, table, or vitrine for display.

Mediums accepted: 

Watercolors, oils, acrylics, mixed media, collage, fiber/textiles, drawing (charcoal, pencil, or ink), aluminum, wood, bronze, and ceramics. Glassworks will not be accepted.

Drop off: 

Artists must drop off their work on Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 9 am to 5 pm at the old Foosaner Art Museum building.

Pick up:

Artists must pick up their work immediately after the exhibition on Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 8:30 pm- 10:30 pm.

Sale of work: 

Artwork should be for sale. Artists will individually handle the sale of their work while committing forty percent (40%) of the sales as a donation to The Eau Gallie Arts District Mainstreet, Inc. (EGAD).

Deadline to apply: 

March 17, 2022, midnight, Eastern Standard Time (12:00 AM ET). Accepted entries should respond within twenty-eight hours (48 hrs.) of receiving news of acceptance. If the artist does not respond by the set time frame, another artist will be awarded the spot.
