The Eau Gallie Arts District (EGAD) is a vibrant community that boasts a rich history, an eclectic mix of art galleries, restaurants, shops and normally a full calendar of family friendly events for visitors and residents to enjoy year round. We’re thrilled to welcome you and know you will find something that sparks your creativity.
Our incredible little city is a charming historic town but it’s also a thriving business district, cultural hub and a home for so many people. It’s a place where generations have lived, worked, and preserved the historic fabric of our downtown. We’re proud that visitors, residents, locals, business owners and property owners alike can benefit from our shops, restaurants, service providers, offices, historic sites and galleries. We know you will find something for everyone while you are here.
It has sat quietly rotting for seventeen years. Finally the iconic Dr. Joe’s Intra-Coastal building in downtown Eau Gallie is showing signs of life. Larry Jarnes, founder of Relentless Private Equity Group, is coming to its rescue to rehab, renovate and remodel the legendary bar.
Jarnes, an Eau Gallie resident and EGAD Board Member, is adding the Dr. Joe’s property to his portfolio of EGAD development projects that promise to build upon the eclectic and artistic nature of the Eau Gallie Arts District.
Once a popular nightspot, Dr. Joe’s Intra-Coastal was severely damaged by Hurricanes Frances and Jeanne in 2004. Jarnes plans to keep the structure’s charm as well as maintain shark mural painted in 2015.
The Eau Gallie Arts District is love at first site for many who succumb to the District’s charms. Now, love is truly in the air with the opening of the Pineapple Estate, a romantic, riverfront estate for weddings, events, meetings and lodging.
This gated luxurious estate consists of 4 homes that will easily lodge 22 guests and host up to 100 guests. Nestled in the heart of the Eau Gallie Art’s District along the Indian River, the venue features three acres of gorgeous landscapes, ponds, walking paths, bird watching area, and butterfly gardens.
