Whiskeys Galore: We have connected with whiskey distilleries and distributors from across the state of Florida to line up more than 60 different bourbons, ryes, sour mashes, scotches, and Irish whiskeys…some you will be familiar with…some that are being introduced…local and national.
Libations for the Non-Whiskey Drinkers: A cash bar is available for those who prefer beer, wine or spirits other than whiskey. So while a ticket holder samples the whiskeys, his or her companion can purchase drinks at the cash bar without being a ticket holder.
Trucking in the Food: Food Trucks will be located at the south end of Highland Ave. with tables on the street and at the Cottage Irish Pub’s front porch dining area. A ticket can be redeemed for one entry with any of the food trucks at the event.
Rocking in the Good Times: RIOS Rockband is the featured band performing live at Whiskey in the District. Rios A regional favorite, Rock Band plays an eclectic mix of musical styles and cover everything from Tom Petty to AC/DC.

Renowned whiskey guru, Jim Farrish of the Mansion takes you on a 90 minute exploration of fine whiskeys and the profiles that make them special. This year, the Vault is located at Funky Dog Improv so you can expect some whiskey and a show. There will also be culinary delights designed specifically for the Vault. Your key to the Vault also includes access to the ’60s themed Bourbon Bunny VIP Lounge as well as whiskey and food on Highland Avenue.
Do ticket holders need a physical ticket to enter the event? No. Event attendees will check in at the check table at the north end of Highland Ave. between FM Pizza and Standard Collective.
Do you have to be a ticket holder to enter the event? No. The event is open to the public to enjoy the live music, cash bar, food trucks, food stations and merchants tables. You cannot sample whiskey from the tasting tents or enter the VIP Lounge without a ticket.
How does the whiskey tasting on Highland Ave. work? For Whiskey Sampler, Highland Pass and VIP Key tickets, you will be issued tickets to hand to whiskeys reps who are presenting the 35+ brands in the tasting tents.
When should I get to the event? The event runs from 4–9pm so anytime after 4:00 is fine…BUT the later you arrive, the greater the chance that some of the popular whiskeys will be gone. So don’t arrive at 8:00pm if you want the full choice of 60+ whiskeys.
Can I buy whiskey at the event? Yes. You can buy whiskey cocktails at our cash bar. For buying bottles of the whiskeys being presented that night, you can scan the QR codes posted at the tasting tents to order whiskey from the Mansion.
Will there be live music? Yes. We have a stage with Rios Rockband performing.
What food options do ticketholders have? You will be given a ticket good for a meal at any of the food trucks available.
What and where is the VIP lounge? Located in Derek Gores Galler on Highland Ave., this is a honky tonk lounge accessible only to sponsors and VIP Key holders. With its own bar, comfy seating and bathrooms; the VIP Lounge offers a cool getaway from the action on the street.
What drinks are available at the cash bar? We will have whiskey, vodka, rum and gin cocktails as well as wine, water and Intracoastal draft beer.
